While I will not go into details as to what this product is since most people viewing will know that it is a further understanding of the chapters they are reading. I bought this today being that it was free and I am very happy I did. I see other reviews saying that the index and getting to other chapters is not user friendly. While I no doubt believe at one point it may have been this way, it is now anything but. You can select your chapter that you want to go to. You can select the book you want to go to. Very pleased with the new updated version and see no big changes in the content within. While the kindle version is a near perfect product, in my opinion its still easier when it comes to refrence books to use actual text. That is the only reason I give it 4 stars. This product is however very worth it if you are going to be using a kindle. And its free.Product details

This Matthew Henry Concise Commentary on the Bible is much easier to navigate than the first one we downloaded. We think it is great to match the comments to what the Bible says to get a clearer understanding of some of the passages.
Any true student of the Bible cannot be without this standard of excellence that has been in print for decades, highly recommended!
The Commentary has been improved. Now you can go to a specific book and select a chapter. Can't select a specific verse from the table at the beginning of each chapter, though.
I have a couple other versions of Matthew Henry's Commentary. They are pretty long winded. I thought that "concise" might be a good thing in this particular case. It is VERY concise. Probably worth what I paid for it but a bit more of the original would make it much better.

Matthew Henry wrote his commentaries almost 300 years ago! They are still readable and insightful! Great for sermonal and Sunday school supplementation!
I chose this rating because I love the ability to read the Bible and get a clear, concise understanding chapter by chapter. This book is for anyone who doesn't have the time to read Matthew Henry's regular Commentary on the Whole Bible, but still wants to understand the Bible. I love the fact that the commentary itself isn't that much longer than the chapters it explains, but it explains thoroughly and from a Biblical perspective. For the price, this commentary can't be beat.
